About the Poet - John Keats
John Keats (1795–1821) stands as a foundational figure of the second generation of English Romantic poets, alongside Lord Byron and Percy Bysshe Shelley. Despite a remarkably brief creative window, publishing for only four years before dying of tuberculosis at the age of 25, his intellectual depth and stylistic mastery secured him a central position in the Western literary canon.
